AGM Update

The club AGM was held at our meeting on the 13th January. Here’s some key highlights of the meeting.

The following club officers were voted in for the following year:

Chairman - George Kennedy

Treasurer - Paul Norman

Club Secretary - John Finch

Committee - Ian Orwin

Some updates to the constitution were made

  • It was agreed by all in the room that the date of the AGM has been amended from January to May. The next AGM will take place in May 2027 at the end of our astronomy season.

  • Memberships were previously due between a January - March window. This has now been updated to allow 12 month memberships to start at anytime throughout the year. This change will also accommodate the ability to join or renew a membership via the new website at anytime throughout the year.
